Described as user friendly, the LVDT Model LVDT-8A signal conditioner board provides eight channels of signal conditioning for a wide range of position-measurement applications. The board does not use multiplexer circuitry, so simultaneous outputs directly correspond to the sensed positions in real-time. Removable screw-terminal blocks allow convenient connection to linear variable differential transformers (LVDTs), while five LEDs verify the full voltage range of the LVDT. The board is packaged in a rugged enclosure and features a DIN-rail mounting provision for industrial environments. Accessories include an assortment of 37-pin ribbon cables for connecting the conditioned outputs to a/d converters. Other features include a factory-set oscillator frequency per channel from 20 Hz to 20 KHz, ±10 Vdc or ±5 Vdc outputs, and operation from a 24V supply. Single-unit price is $795.
