The SS-60300 series Category 6a, PCB-mount jacks address the demands of emerging high-speed networking and computing applications by exceeding the 500-MHz requirements of CAT 6a specifications. They feature internal compensation to enhance electrical performance without the need for extensive secondary compensation on the main PCB and employ a patent-pending design, which integrates the capacitive and inductive compensation on a flexible circuit board that attaches directly to the tips of the jack contacts. The proximity of the flexible board to the connection helps cancel NEXT crosstalk introduced to the jack from the plug. Available in vertical or right angle configurations, and shielded and unshielded versions, the jacks feature gold-plated contacts, an operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C, durability of 750 mating cycles, voltage rating of 150 Vdc, and a current rating of 1.5A at 25°C. Price is $1.35 each/5,000 for the unshielded version. BEL STEWART CONNECTOR, Glen Rock, PA. (717) 235-7512.
