Two USB analog resistive touch-screen controller lines offer a choice of resolutions, as well as 4-, 5-, 7- or 8-wire configurations. The TSHARC-10USBm controllers support a resolution of 1,024 x 1,024, making them suitable for most general touch-screen applications.
The TSHARC-12USBm devices have a resolution of 4,096 x 4,096, making them usable for drawing, character capture, or other precision applications. Both controllers are HID compliant and compatible with touch-screens from major manufacturers. Controller board packages include drivers for Windows 98/ME/2000, and Mac OS 8.6 or higher. Price is between $35 and $50 each, depending on configuration and quantity.
