Model CPX2408 is a versatile, entry-level, IEEE 1101.10-compliant, eight-slot cPCI chassis that can be rack- or panel-mounted or used on the laboratory bench. The rugged steel enclosure supports front and rear I/O, features a front-accessible hot-swap fan tray, and can be configured with single or dual n+1 power supplies. Five peripheral bays are front-accessible and protected from accidental misuse by an optional quick-release, hinged door. A H.110 backplane is supplied in the CPX2408T. These enclosures are designed to the PICMG Hot Swap specification and are ready to support hot-swap adapter boards. Applications include low-end to mid-range industrial automation, datacomm and telecomm equipment.
