The CMS-Enterprise-2G density memory upgrades for Sun Microsystems' line of Enterprise servers doubles current maximum memory to 4 GB per system board, raising total system memory capacity up to maximum of 60 GB, depending on the model. The memory is said to be designed to maximize performance of Sun's mid-range UNIX servers. The upgrade kit consists of eight 256-MB modules that are fully compatible with the Sun Enterprise family of servers, including 3000/3500, 4000/4500, 5000/5500, and 6000/6500. CMS-Enterprise-2G is available as a kit of eight 256-MB modules for $6,000.
