SBC Flexes Multimedia Muscle

Targeting graphics-intensive mobile devices, the VGX single-board computer provides support for emerging multimedia environments in a 4" x 7" package. The board exploits a Silicon Motion SM 501 graphics accelerator to deliver 24-bit color or resolutions up to SXGA. Other graphics interfaces include support for dual CRTs, a TV encoder, NTSC/PAL inputs with scaling, and an LVDS interface. Other features include a dual CAN 2.0b interface.
