Available in five EIA sizes ranging from A through E (3216 - 7343H), the TC Series chip-type, solid tantalum electrolytic capacitors tout low ESR and low ESL, and offer a high capacitance range. The components meet IECQ standard QC300801/US0001 and EIA standard 535BAAC and attach to substrates or PC boards via conventional methods, such as dip soldering, welding, and re-flow soldering. They are available in eight voltages ranging from 4 to 50 Vdc and capacitance values from 0.1 to 470 mF with tolerances of ±20% and ±10%. Operating temperature range is from –55°C to +85°C or to +125°C with voltage derating. Prices range from $0.032 to $0.63 each in production quantities. CAL-CHIP ELECTRONICS INC., Ivyland, PA.
