The TEKAL aluminum enclosure has been designed for housing hand-held, desktop and wall mount electronics. Typical applications include mobile data recorders, test and measurement devices and control equipment. The case extrusion is painted with fine texture powder paint in either off-white RAL 9002 or black RAL 9004. The matching end panels are light gray RAL 9018 and dark gray RAL 7012, respectively. Internal guide rails are suited for mounting pc boards, and a recessed area on the top and bottom can be used for mounting membrane keypads or product labels. TEKAL case end panels are recessed for keypads, or to protect the connectors and switches. Sizes range from 2.75" x 2.36" x 1.22" to 8.26" x 6.57" x 2.08". Options include wall-mountable versions, mini-towers and instrument cases with carry handles. Slide-in battery compartments can also be ordered. Pricing starts at $8.
