Compact Socket 370 SBC Fits In Any Network Environment

The PCM-9578, a Socket 370 single-board computer (SBC), accepts Celeron or Pentium III/512-kbyte processors up to 1.26 GHz. This board can supply three or four 10/100-Mbit/s Ethernet ports. It also can be used as a triple Ethernet firewall/DMZ device or a four-Ethernet-port device that enables centralized management of a Secure Virtual Network. An optional LAN3, LAN4 bypass function ensures that network connections are maintained even in the unlikely event of board failure. With the available COM port, administrators can simply connect a PC for configuration. The PCM-9578 offers GPIO support with general-purpose, programmable I/O control. Three fan controllers include one for the CPU fan and two for system fans. The LAN3, LAN4 redirection function is managed via the serial-port-connected PC console.
