A Kontron product, the MOPSlcdLX PC/104-Plus CPU board employs an AMD LX800 processor running at clock speeds up to 500 MHz with passive cooling only. It is also available in a PC/104 version. The board comes with a low-profile heatsink that sits lower than the PC/104 stack and, for less demanding applications, CPU speed is adjustable via the BIOS in increments down to 200 MHz. Other features include up to 1 GB of DDR-SDRAM, PCI graphics, 10/100 Base-T Ethernet, two USB 2.0 ports, two RS-232C ports, EIDE (UDMA-33) support, floppy-disk support, and printer and PS/2 keyboard/mouse interfaces. Darkboot, LANboot, watchdog timer, power fail-detect circuitry, and a real-time clock are also on board. Operating-system support includes Windows 2000/XP/XP embedded/CE and Linux.
