Based on the AMD Geode LX 800 processor and CS5536 companion chipset, the low-power ETX-GLX COM module contains a dual-port SATA controller and supports up to 1 GB DDR400 memory in a single SODIMM socket. Targeted for markets such as medical automation, gaming, instrumentation and POS, the module supports advanced display features such as support for CRTs up to a resolution of 1,920 x 1,440 and single- or dual-channel 24-bit LVDS panels up to a 1,600 x 1,200 resolution. Other features include: ETX 3.02 compliance; 10/100Base-T Ethernet port; a PATA EIDE controller supporting both PIO and UDMA modes; four USB 2.0 ports; two serial ports; one parallel port (SPP/ECP/EPP), one PS2 keyboard/mouse interface, an AC’97 audio interface, and power management functionality.
