Ready for high-density chores, the DAQe-2208 analog-input, PCI Express data-acquisition (DAQ) card provides users with 96 channels, a 12-bit resolution, and a 3-Msample/s throughput. The card is capable of sampling up to 96 single-ended AI channels with different gain settings and scan sequences while offering differential modes for 48 AI channels. It also features analog and digital triggering plus 24 programmable digital I/O lines. An SSI bus is also on board to allow up to four cards to be synchronized. Auto-calibration adjusts the gain and offset and scatter-gather bus mastering allows acquisition of large amounts of data at high speed by transferring data directly to an from memory through the DMA controller. Operating-system support includes Windows Vista and Linux and the card comes with software support for LabVIEW, MATLAB, .NET, Visual C++, and Visual Basic. Single-unit price starts at $1,095.
