Mini Transformer Claims Smallest Footprint

Aug. 1, 2002

Claiming the smallest footprint design, a new 1553 pulse transformer product series called the MLP-2000 is a surface mount package with an 0.185" maximum height. According to the company, the series achieves a 70% reduction in board space compared to similar MIL-PRF-21038/27 QPL listed surface mount pulse transformers. Operating temperature ranges from -55°C to +105°C and comes in 5V, 12V and 15V turns-ratios. The MLP-2000 series is fully compatible with all 1553 drivers, receivers and transceivers.
