Via an 865G chipset and an 800-/533-/400-MHz front side bus, the PCA-6187 full-size, single-board computer supports socket 478 Pentium 4 processors with hyper-threading (HT) technology and Celeron processors operating at speeds of either 3.2 GHz or 2.2 GHz. Its communications streaming architecture includes a dedicated network bus interface that specifies a bandwidth of 266 MB/s. The board also accommodates up to 4 GB of dual-channel DDR400 SDRAM with a memory bandwidth up to 6.4 GB/s and includes two serial ATA ports and an Ultra160 SCSI interface. Other features include dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, an integrated graphic accelerator with up to 64 MB of shared memory, two EIDE interfaces supporting up to four devices, six USB 2.0 ports, AC-97 audio, and an array of standard I/O such as two RS-232 ports, one enhanced parallel port, and a floppy-disk interface.
