To meet worldwide lead-free manufacturing requirements, the company has unveiled lead-free versions of its 2AG, 3AG, 3AB, and 5 mm x 20 mm fuses. They comply with Europe's restriction of hazardous substances (RoHS) initiative and the Japanese Electronics Industry Development Association's lead-free product roadmap. The fuses also comply with electronic industry manufacturing standards for lead-free circuit board content including IEC 60068-2-20, as well as current industry standards such as the EIA-IS-722 low-voltage supplemental fuse qualification specification and CSA/UL requirements. Additionally, the lead-free fuses offer the same performance specifications as their conventional counterparts. Prices range from $0.095 to $0.50 each in production volume.
