Tool Simplifies In-System Programming Of Flash Memory

Jan. 1, 1999

The newest member of firm's ASSET suite of ISP tools, FlashProgrammer is a universal boundary-scan tool for programming flash memory devices. Designers and test engineers can program any vendor's flash memory from an easy-to-use user interface on a PC or VXI platform under Windows 95/NT. A boundary-scan chain is used to provide access to flash memories on-board so that programming data can be loaded into the devices. Compatible with the industry-standard ISP language, Serial Vector Format, the tool can be integrated with all of the firm's design, debug and manufacturing test tools. Available during the first quarter of 1999 the product is an add-on to an existing ScanDeveloper system.
