In addition to a 300W or 400W ac power supply and an integrated, easily replaceable fan tray, the Model 5082 chassis also offers a 6U, 8-slot CompactPCI backplane that is available in either a Computer Telephony Spec H.110-compliant or general-purpose rear I/O version. The chassis supports 3.3V o 5V boards, as well as IEEE 1101.11-style rear transition cards. And it is also available as part of a PICMG hot-swap-compliant, pre-configured, ready-to-run system housed in a 8U, 19”, rack-mountable enclosure for developing telecomm and Internet products. Te basic unit includes a system CPU, super VGA video, floppy and CD-ROM drives, CompactNET peripheral option, and more. Operating temperature range is 0°C to 50°C.
