Board-To-Board Connectors Support Fast Signal Speeds

Providing a board-to-board stacking height of only 4 to 5 mm , the FX10 Series of surface-mount connectors offers improved signal transmission speeds through ground plenums on mating assemblies. Ground stability is also achieved with direct connection of the ground plenums to the board and signal contacts on 0.5-mm spacing; ground plenums are placed at every 10-contact positions. Stability is provided with board solder brackets. Ground plenums and contacts have a wipe length of 1 mm minimum to assure reliable interconnections. The FX10 parallel board-to-board connectors are available with 80-, 100-, 120- and 140-contact positions, with or without positioning posts.
