Quantum 3D’s Sentiris 4110 PMC Models CD13 and CV10 deliver 2D/3D graphics support with analog video-capture and display capabilities. These 66 MHz PCI Mezzanine Cards (PMC) (Fig. 1) employ NVIDIA Quadro Mobile GPU technology. The boards can drive dual, independent analog (RGB up to 2048 by 1536 pixels) and digital (LVDS up to 1600 by 1200 pixels) outputs. The former supports popular formats including NTSC, PAL, RS-170/A and S-video. The systems have a 128-bit memory interface with 64 Mbytes of DDR RAM. They have a sustained bandwidth of 7.0 Gbytes/s and a trilinear-filtered, texture-mapped 3D-graphics performance of up to 440 Mpixels/s. I earned a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Masters in Computer Science from Rutgers University. I still do a bit of programming using everything from C and C++ to Rust and Ada/SPARK. I do a bit of PHP programming for Drupal websites. I have posted a few Drupal modules.

I still get a hand on software and electronic hardware. Some of this can be found on our Kit Close-Up video series. You can also see me on many of our TechXchange Talk videos. I am interested in a range of projects from robotics to artificial intelligence.
