The FTP-628DSL600 interface board series from Fujitsu is designed for the company's 2-, 3-, and 4-inch 5-V horizontal and vertical thermal printer mechanisms. The boards support high-end features such as high-speed data communications, fast print speeds, USB 2.0 and high speed (460 kbps) serial (RS232-C) connectivity, and OCR extended numeric characters. Thermal print speeds can go up to 80 mm/s. Dimensions are 2.73 x 2.05 in. (69.30 x 52.00 mm). Each board features flash memory and near-end detection. The series supports many user-programmable features, including multi-language fonts, bar code or image rotation, and print speed. It has a 4.2- to 8.5-V head/motor operating voltage range.
