DIP Switches Offer J-Lead Terminals

Jan. 1, 2000

With J-lead terminals, Series 219 surface-mount SPST DIP switch line has terminals that are positioned alongside and under the package to reduce board space width requirements to approximately 0.100". The switches feature standard gold-plated contacts for enhanced reliability and medium or low-profile actuators for flexibility. And they meet or exceed IR and vapor-phase soldering specifications up to 260°C for 60 seconds and wave solder specifications up to 260°C for six seconds. The SMT DIP switches are available with or without a removable tape top seal. A bottom sealed construction, positive detent separate from contactor, and slide actuated bifurcated self-cleaning contacts are mechanical features.
