Members of the WEG series of empty modular housing assemblies enable fast pc-board installation. They are touch-safe and protect electronic components from shock. These devices aid in the design of industrial and consumer electronics control circuits and control units as well as in data-technology applications.

The housings are manufactured with a universal DIN rail mounting foot for industrial installation. They are constructed of flame-resistant polyamide 6.6 plastic rated UL 94 V-0. All housings are equipped with funneled wire entry and I/O wire venues for convenient wire routing and termination. Terminations are constructed with the secure rising cage clamp system. Also included on each modular housing body are custom marking facilities. Four basic sizes are available, varying in width from 16.5 to 28.5 in. and in height from 70.5 to 98 in. off the DIN rail.
