Armed with the Intel Pentium 4 processor and 845-E chip set, the T41 single-board computer (SBC) is ready for applied computing applications. The PCI/ISA SBC integrates the Pentium 4 processor's NetBurst micro-architecture with 2 Gbytes of double-data-rate memory and a 400/533-MHz system bus. It also includes a 10/100BaseT Ethernet port and a 10/100/1000 Ethernet local-area network port. The T41's speed ranges from 2.0 GHz with a 400-MHz system bus to 2.4 GHz with a 533-MHz system bus. The processor features an L2 cache memory of 512 kbytes with eight-way set-associative cache running at full processor core speed. The fast system bus enables higher data throughput for many data-intensive applications. RJ-45 connectors, located on the I/O bracket, provide the mechanical interface to the Ethernet networks. On-board Ultra 160 SCSI provides data transfer operations up to 160 Mbytes/s. The board supports a variety of video resolutions with 4 Mbytes of video memory. Additional features include hardware monitoring, two serial ports, dual Rev 2.0-compatible USB ports, an enhanced bidirectional parallel port interface, a watchdog timer and PS/2 mouse, a keyboard, and floppy-drive interfaces. Pricing for the T41 SBC starts at $2100.
