The Gene-6320 single-board computer (SBC), available in a 3.5-in. floppy-disk drive (FDD) form factor, takes advantage of either the Intel Celeron ULP 300-MHz processor or the Mobile Intel Pentium LP 700-MHz processor. The board features an integrated AGP-2X 2D/3D graphics accelerator, 24-bit transistor-transistor logic and low-voltage differential-signaling LCD support, and NTSC/PAL TV output. For I/O flexibility, it incorporates two COM ports, a multimode parallel port, two USB ports, and an IrDA port. The Gene-6320 also provides a Type II CompactFlash socket and support for Gigabit Fast Ethernet and PCI audio. Due to its flexible design, the board is producible in four different configurations, varying by processor choice and I/O ports. All require only 5 V dc of input power for a 5.75- by 4.0-in. board. The SBCs target POS/POI, kiosk, networking appliance, multimedia, and industrial automation applications. Pricing ranges from $598 to $950 each, depending upon configuration.
