PC/104-Plus SBC Extends Temperature Range

The Bobcat single-board computer (SBC) is available in an extended temperature configuration with operation from −40°C to 85°C. This version of the PC/104-Plus module integrates a low-power Elan SC520 CPU 586 CPU running at 100 MHz. It features 10/100 Ethernet, 64 Mbytes of system RAM, and a DiskOnChip flash socket. Standard I/O includes floppy, IDE, and four COM ports (two RS-422/485). The reprogrammable BIOS provides embedded capabilities for OEMs. The board is compatible with Windows, QNX, Linux, RT-Linux, and other popular real-time operating systems. The SBC's extended temperature range enables it to perform in harsh environments. Available now, the Bobcat is priced at $321 in OEM quantities.
