A new line of "snap-in" or "press-in" 2 AG, 3 AG, and 5-mm pc-board-mounted fuse clips is rated for 6.3- to 15-A operation. The low-profile clips are available with or without orientation tabs and end stops to ensure safety and design integrity. To enable low contact resistance and superior life cycle, the parts are manufactured from brass and are tin-plated. The devices mount easily and maintain stable positioning during wave soldering. In addition, vinyl fuse covers in 5-mm and 3 AG sizes are available to protect and insulate fuses. Pricing for the pc-board-mount fuse clips starts at $48 per 1000 units in bulk quantities.
