The CoreT Duo low-voltage operation consumes only 15 W, making it well-suited for defense aerospace platforms in which size, weight, and power are critical. The SBC can be configured with either the CoreT Duo or CoreT Solo CPUs and is available in both ruggedized air- or conduction-cooled versions.

The S/DCP3-1201 offers one PMC expansion site and can be configured with an optional 1x8 PCIe XMC site on the backside of the card. This enables integrators to significantly reduce the volume and cost of subsystems. I/O flexibility includes two Gigabit Ethernet ports, three USB 2.0 ports, two SATA ports, and eight GPIO lines. It has 2 Mbytes of L2 advanced transfer cache, up to 1 Gbyte of USB DDR2 SRAM, and up to 2 Gbytes of USB user flash. The company also manufactures a 64-Gbyte flash RAID PMC and an ATI M9 video/graphics card that are compatible with the new SBC.

Software available for the SBC includes board support packages for operating system environments such as Windows, Solaris, and Linux. Support for real-time operating environments like VxWorks will be announced soon.
