p>Concurrent Technologies' VX 405/04x line of VME64x single board computers supports VME64 and VXS, the VITA 41.3 switched serial standard. The system uses an Intel Core Duo processor along with the Mobile 945GM Express chip set. Boards can be deliver with up to 4 Gbytes of soldered 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM. Dual 1-Gbit/s Ethernet ports are available via the P2 connector or P0 for VXS support. The board also has front and rear panel graphics support, keyboard and mouse interfaces, five USB 2.0 ports, and two RS-232/422 interfaces. There is room on-board for a 2.5-in. EIDE hard disk, dual Compact Flash sockets, or two 64-bit 66 MHz XMC sites. Pricing for a VX405/04x with a 1.66-GHz Intel Core Duo L2400 processor starts at $4290. The boards also support 2-GHz processors.
