The UEILogger series of data loggers/recorders from United Electronics Industries combines ruggedness, flexibility, ease-of-use, and low cost. Each Logger "cube" contains the Logger "engine" and either three (UEILogger 300) or six (UEILogger 600) I/O slots. More than 20 I/O boards are available to configure the cube for almost any application. One 4- by 4.1- by 5.8-in. UEILogger can provide up to 150 analog-to-digital channels or 288 digital I/O channels. The system supports sampling of up to 100 samples per second on each I/O channel or port. Data is logged onto standard SD cards and may be retrieved via the unit's Ethernet port or directly from the card using a standard reader. The included SD card holds more than 500 million 16-bit A/D readings.

A simple, intuitive Windows-based application sets up the logger and extracts data from the memory card, with no programming required. The software allows users to set input and output ranges, sample and update rates, signal conditioning, and other factors from pull-down menus. The data logging applications may be downloaded via the Ethernet port or stored on the SD card. The cubes have been tested from -40°C to 85°C and for 50g shock, 5g vibration, and altitudes up to 70,000 feet.

The UEILogger 300 costs $1595 and the UEILogger 600 is $1795. Both are available now. Visit www.ueidaq.com.
