The BC5120 Bluetooth device from CSR teams with BlueCore Session Manager (BCSM) software and promises to be the most cost effective and easy way for integrating Bluetooth connectivity into consumer products. Announced at CES 2009, the BC5120 IC features an embedded RISC processor and an integrated Kalimba DSP. It also integrates FastStream, a low latency high-quality music and voice CODEC that reduces latency in the audio link.

The device supports v2.1+EDR of the Bluetooth specification. The complete package is available and includes the BC5120, BCSM application software, a hardware development board, and a software development kit.
