Two new dc-to-dc converters compatible with power factor-correcting (PFC) front end modules have joined the firm's compact (4.6" x 2.2" x 0.5"), second generation of high-power-density (80 to 120 W/cu. in.), 375V nominal input converters. The devices have a baseplate operating temperature of up to 100°C and a stepped profile that can give the modules an above-board height of only 0.43".The 600W, 28-vdc output V375A28C600A module operates at 89% efficiency; the 600W, 24 vdc model V375A24C600A sports 87.7% efficiency.
