Feb. 1, 1999

Used to add an array of pins to a surface-mount PLCC device, these PLCC adapters allow the PLCC to be wave soldered to a through-hole pc board or plugged into a traditional pin grid array socket. A 68-pin adapter, with a choice of two pin lengths (0.202" or 0.303"), is offered as standard. Pins are precision machined brass, 0.018" in diameter, and either tin or 10µ" gold plated. The adapter board is 0.062" thick glass epoxy type FR4, rated UL94V-0.A matching PGA LIF socket is also offered.
