V.35 Multi-Pin Connectors Save Board Space

Jan. 1, 1999

Based on the CCITT V.35 standards, the Adam Tech V.35 series of multi-pin connectors is designed to serve high-speed data communication applications. The ISO 2593-compliant connectors feature the company's shortened footprint design, which saves space while still providing compatibility with most industry-standard products.Other features of these V.35 multi-pin connectors include a current capacity of 7A per contact with a fully shrouded contact design. As a result, the connectors are suited for mainframe-to-peripheral equipment, process control, medical equipment, robotics and instrumentation applications. Standard items include female, right-angle, pc-mount sockets, and male cable-mount plugs. The sockets can have either crimp or solder contacts.
