A 3U single-height CompactPCI (cPCI) high-speed frame grabber with an RGB module, the CP335 board is said to offer cost-effective performance for image processing in harsh industrial environments. The general-purpose I/O front panel interface provides bidirectional inputs and outputs (3 each TTL compatible) on a 15-pin D-subminiature connector for camera control (switch on/off, zoom in/out, etc.). Data transfer rates are 70 MB/s across the PCIbus. An 8051 controller handles on-board data pre-processing, and with integration of its real-time operating system offers a reaction time of less than 2 µs.
