Prototyping Adapter Fits SOICs

This SO plug solders down to an SOIC land pattern on a prototyping board and provides a convenient way to insert and remove devices for testing. Using this adapter, 8- to 28-pin SOIC packages with body widths of 7.4 to 7.9 mm and lead pitch of 1.27 mm can be socketed over board footprints. And the modular socket, circuit board and SO plug are easily replaced if they wear out.
