A 5V bus switch allows real-time systems such as servers, telephone exchange equipment, security systems, and airline booking networks to run continuously. The PI5C6800 bus switch is a 10-bit, low impedance bus switch with precharged output and enable/disable time of less than 5 ns, compared with 9 ns for most others. This device targets uses in server/workstation motherboards and industrial PCI systems. Primary applications are PCI-based systems such as servers and workstations that support network peripherals. This two-port (A-B) bus switch has low on-state resistance, near-zero propagation delay and ultra-low quiescent power.
