A physical layer transmitter/receiver IC that uses sophisticated on-chip circuits to attenuate received line jitter, CS61581 lets designers meet the latest industry requirements at low cost. Supporting T1 and E1 modes, including short and long haul line requirements, CS61581 can be used on existing boards that were originally designed for long haul only line interface ICs. This device has built-in diagnostics that include QRSS generators that generate and receive industry-standard data patterns in transmit and receive directions, while detecting and counting bit errors. In network equipment this can help diagnose and isolate problems.
