ARINC 429 Interface Card Fits PCI Bus

Nov. 1, 1998

For use in developing commercial avionics systems, LP429-3 ARINC 429 interface card supports from two to eight ARINC channels in a wide variety of user-specified configurations. It includes features such as automatic bus speed detection, powerful transmit scheduling, error injection, and extensive monitoring capabilities. The unit can be operated by user-written software or by the firm's powerful CoPilot 429 graphical software. The ARINC 429 databus protocol is used extensively in commercial aircraft to communicate between on-board systems. For development and testing of these systems, the LP429-3 installed in a PCI computer provides an easy-to-use tool. The LP429-3 can also communicate with devices using ARINC 573, 575, 582, 717 and others.
