Single-Piece Connector Plugs Directly Into Plated Through Holes In PCBs

Nov. 1, 1998

By omitting the female part entirely and plugging directly into plated through-holes in the host pc board, the EECOM single-piece connector saves time and reduces parts count. Only half the number of electrical connections are required and reliability is doubled. The system is a solution for high-speed data connections board-to-board, flex-to-board and bare-wire-to-board.
