Fully PC-100 compliant, HB52R329E2-B6 256-Mbyte SRAM DIMM is organized as a 32-Mword x 72-bit, 2-bank, 168-pin module that operates at 100 MHz bus frequency. The organization and compliance allows easy upgrades in workstations, servers, and PCs, with the DIMM also useful in providing newly designed systems with very high density, plug-in main memory. For example, on Intel-compatible motherboards four slots are provided for main memory modules, enabling four of these DIMMs to deliver to the board 1-Gbyte of memory. The DIMMs conform to the JEDEC standard outline for an 8-byte DIMM with ECC, including the 5 mm maximum thickness.
