Sensor Board Operates In PCI Bus Computers

Oct. 1, 1998

The PCI-441 precision sensor input and multi-function analog I/O board for PCI bus computers exploits the power of the PCI bus for a wide range of test, measurement and control applications. The board combines analog input, signal conditioning, analog output, digital input/output, and counter/timer I/O on a desktop PCI plug-in format designed for precision data acquisition and process control applications. It is particularly well-suited to sensor and transducer inputs such as strain gauges, RTDs, bridge circuits and displacement sensing elements. The board can also serve as a strip chart recorder or multi-channel data logger in factory automation, research, and industrial controls applications.
