Emergency Stop Switch Is Panel Mounted

Sept. 1, 1998

Used to instantly shut down a machine or other equipment, particularly when hazardous conditions occur, Rafix 16 Emergency Stop Switch is operated by simply pushing the red latching actuator, which causes the normally closed contacts to separate and immediately remove power to the equipment. The switch design prevents emergency stop actuation from being stopped by a foreign object under the actuation surface. Re-actuation requires twisting the actuator by hand. Contacts are SPDT or DPST in gold or silver and meet UL 94V-0 flammability requirements. The contact block has quick connect terminals and can be adapted to fit boards. Operating temperature range is -25°C to 70°C.
