Modular Jacks Save Space Over Individual Jacks

Sept. 1, 1998

Intended for peripheral line applications such as modems, LANs and print sharing devices, these ganged right-angle modular jacks (modjacks) offer panel ground tabs on shields between ports, multiple board grounds, and internal grounding tabs that complete circuit-to-ground in cable/plug applications. The modjacks are approved for all FCC licensed applications and are intermateable with all FCC 68 modular plugs. They have 50 microinches of gold plating that meets FCC requirements and provide reliable connections after 500 cycles.
