Bus-Less Computer Board Offers Dual PC-MIP Sites

With dual PC-MIP sites for added expansion capabilities, the PROEBX single-board computer for embedded applications features processor speeds of up to 333 MHz, memory capacities of up to 512 Mbytes, and up to 144 Mbytes of flash disk-on-chip. The unit ofers Super I/O functionality with a 2.88-Mbyte floppy drive interface, a multimode parallel port, dual serial ports, and support for keyboard and mouse. Also included is a real-time clock, three independent programmable timers, and four A/D converters. Dual 168-pin DIMM modules support various sizes of DRAM and SDRAM for easy field upgradeability. There are also two 4-kbit EPROMs to store on-board manufacturing information and user-specific data.
