With a modular design that allows it to be easily configured with several different backplanes, single-board computers, power supplies, and various other peripherals such as hard drives, CD-ROM drives, floppy drives and PCI/ISA peripheral cards, the 583 Series 19" rack-mount industrial chassis is well-suited for applications that require environmentally tough systems that exceed normal operating specifications of a standard PC. It meets or exceeds the requirements of typical industrial and telecomm applications. Series dimensions are 4U high x 19" wide x 17" deep. Cooling is performed by two low-speed, ultra-quiet fans. Customizable features include I/O configurations, custom paint or logos, system-level integration, choice of backplanes, and a range of power supplies.
