In the Stepper Motor Prototyping Kit, designers will find everything they need to create motion-control applications. The kit includes two stepper motors and incorporates indexers, motors, drivers and high-level software control.Running at 200 steps/revolution, the two four-phase, unipolar stepper motors with 1.8º resolution are mounted on a pc board, which is interfaced by a ribbon cable to a QED digital I/O board. The board provides the high-current drivers for the motors. Pre-coded library routines make it easy to specify starting/jogging speeds as well as acceleration and deceleration rates for each motor.
