The DP83815CVNG MacPHYTER IC is a single-chip 10/100-Mb/s PCI Ethernet controller and physical layer transceiver. The chip is designed for easy implementation of Ethernet LANs for adapters, LAN-on-motherboard, and information appliances such as set-top boxes.With the IC, designers can expect error-free reception at upwards of 140 meters and extremely low power consumption of 170 mA (560 mW) during full operation and 10 mA (33 mW) in sleep mode. It also provides remote management features with wake-on-LAN and PXE 2.0 support, as well as power management support for ACPI systems. A design kit is available.
