The FTR Series of cement wirewound thermal fusible resistors is designed to open in 20 to 30 seconds after current overloads and/or high ambient temperatures are reached. The devices are well-suited for providing protection to power supplies and other electronics assemblies. And they can save pc board space by combining overcurrent and overtemperature functions in a single device. Seven models are available rated from 1.5W to 3.5W.
