Reducing component count on boards, the W3F4 Series capacitor array in a 1206-size package contains four elements with a dual common-ground connection that suppresses EMI and performs broadband I/O filtering or VCC power line conditioning. The array provides significant noise reduction in digital circuits operating ≤ 5 GHz. The first available packages in standard EIA 0805 and 1206 sizes are designated W2F and W3F, respectively. A number of values are available in NP0 and X7R ceramic dielectrics. These components are excellent for decoupling in high di/dt environments.
