A 40% lower profile than some competitive devices is promised with the release of the firm’s slim SG Series, 3A solid state relay. With dimensions of 9 mm (W) x 40 mm (L) x 200 mm (H), this solid-state relay features a SIL packaging option that is reported as occupying minimal board area, enabling high-density mounting in applications such as programmable logic controllers, robotics, process control, remote switching, HVAC, and numerical control machines. Compatible with existing industry-standard Japanese models as well as American designs, the series features a phototriac coupler and can also be specified with an internal zero-cross circuit and/or a varistor. The SSR has an input voltage of 3 vdc to 24 vdc and a load voltage range of 75 to 265 Vrms.
